2026 JISP at Hildene

Join us for afternoons exploring Hildene's dene farm and education greenhouse in winter. Despite the cold temperatures, students will find that the greenhouse is quite warm, and plants are thriving! While tending to these plants, students will learn how food can be grown in winter. Over at the barn, the animals are not sleeping away the winter and, they too, need to be cared for. Students will spend time caring for and being with the farm animals. Of course, there will be plenty of time for fun in the snow and farm and garden crafts, too!
