CURRENT GUEST ACCESS INCLUDES: Robert & Mary's home (masks optional); the Pullman railcar and its "Many Voices" exhibit (masks optional; please follow distancing guidelines when touring the Pullman railcar); gardens & trails; The Museum Store (masks optional); observation hallway at the Goat Dairy (masks optional), and Greenhouse and animal barn in the dene (masks optional).

SPECIAL TOURS: Guided tours of the Lincoln family home (11AM Thursday - Monday, by reservation only) REQUIRE THE USE OF MASKS. This 45-minute tour offers an intimate look at the Lincoln family and their daily life at Hildene. Prior registration of at least 48 hours in advance, is required. Capacity: 10 persons. Cost is $10 per person in addition to regular admission. For additional questions or to book your tour, please contact call 802-362-1788.

FAQ:

Are there special Holiday hours?
Hildene will be closed on November 24, 2022; December 24 - 26, 2022; and April 9, 2023.  Otherwise, see "Current Hours of Operation" above.

May I purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets to visit Hildene are available upon arrival. We are not able to accept advanced reservations at this time. Capacity limits will be determined by available parking.

May I take a guided tour?
Hildene venues and exhibits are designed to be self-guided. There are knowledgeable docents available to provide guests with an introduction as well as to answer questions during their visit. May I bring a picnic?
Hildene encourages folks to take advantage of our designated picnic area located near the Welcome Center - outside food is welcomed in (carry in - carry out; or, please use provided garbage and recycle receptacles). The Museum Store is also stocked with an array of Hildene cheeses, local snack foods, treats, and cold beverages.

May I pet the animals?
Current guidelines allow petting of animals, although no hands/fingers in mouths. Sanitize hands before and after contact, please.

Hours and Admission

PLEASE NOTE:
Hildene is CLOSED to the public, SATURDAY, MARCH 4, for snow removal.
We will re-open on Sunday, March 5.

 

Current Hours: Thursday - Monday, 10am and 4:30pm (gates close).

Closed Easter, Thanksgiving and December 24, 25, 26.

All guests must check in and pay admission at the Welcome Center.

General Admission

Includes Self-Guided tours of Robert and Mary's home, gardens, Hildene Farm, Pullman railcar "Sunbeam," and approximately 12 miles of walking trails.


$23/Adults - $6/Youth (6 to 16) - Children 5 yrs and under & Members/Free
2ND DAY ADMISSION (with receipt): $7/Adults & Youth (6 to 16)- Children under 6 & Members/Free

Group Tours

Group Tours are welcome year-round for groups of 20 or more. Advance reservations are required. For Group Tour rates, booking information and a reservations form, please email tours@hildene.org or call 800-578-1788.

Tours for the Visually Impaired
