Join ECO-Americorps presenters Emily Anderson and Ryan Kincaid in a combined workshop for those nature lovers who want to learn how to use two key mapping apps: iNaturalist and iMapInvasives. Participants will learn how to use the apps so they can engage in citizen science projects. Cell phones and/or digital cameras can be used to snap and upload photos of animals and plants for members of the iNaturalist and iMapInvasives communities to identify. Using these crowd-sourced species identification apps will help in monitoring and conserving Vermont’s biodiversity. Plus, it’s fun!
