Tussie Mussie Nosegay/Small hand-designed bouquet of dried flowers, herbs and grasses, wrapped in waxed twine.

A tussie mussie is a small bouquet, often made with a specific meaning or message conveyed through the language of flowers.

These bouquets were popularized in the Victorian era and can be used today as a thoughtful gift, wedding accessory, or personal bouquet. They are made of flowers and herbs and are historically held in special, often decorative, holders called tussie mussies. In the 18th century and earlier, tussie-mussies were often carried to ward off foul orders or miasmas as it was believed that the pleasant scents of flowers and herbs promoted well-being.

The modern version of the bridal bouquet was first popularised by Queen Victoria, who carried a tussie-mussie filled with moss and orange blossom at her wedding to Prince Albert in 1840.
