Step back in time to America’s Gilded Age with acclaimed author, speaker, and garden designer Jana Milbocker, as she presents her newest book, Gardens of the Gilded Age Enjoy a light summer lunch during this richly illustrated talk while Jana explores the grand estates and extraordinary gardens created for families such as the Vanderbilts, Rockefellers, and du Ponts, as well as the visionary designers who shaped these magnificent landscapes. The luncheon and book signing will be followed by a tour of Hildene’s Formal Garden, which is featured in the book.  Those wishing to build upon this experience are invited to register for a flower workshop from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in which participants will make Gilded Age tussie-mussies with Ann Odgen Hausslein. Tickets to the luncheon include admission for the day.
